One of the charms of Dormy, Student’s dormitory is its meals.
At Dormy, we prepare each dish with care, made from scratch to delight our residents.
Guided by our motto of “enjoyable and delicious,”
we incorporate seasonal ingredients,
offering breakfast and dinner that never grow tiresome.
In our series “Dormy Cafeteria,”
we introduce the monthly featured dishes and recommended menus actually served at Dormy.
From menus perfect for autumn's hearty appetite to unique dishes created by the dorm manager,
this month's lineup is packed with delicious options.

Ramen Salad
Available for dinner on Tuesday,
September 2nd at Dormy nationwide (excluding some locations)
Introducing Ramen Salad, a cold salad originating from Hokkaido.
Its signature feature is the refreshing combination of abundant vegetables
and seafood served with chilled Chinese noodles.
Tossed in a savory Chinese-style sesame dressing,
this cool dish is perfect for lingering summer heat—please enjoy!

Yakiniku Pita Bread Sandwich
Available for dinner on Wednesday, September 10th at Dormy nationwide
This award-winning dish, which took top honors in the Tokyo metropolitan area,
is the brainchild of Dormy Tanashi Lei's dorm manager, Ms. Hotta.
It's a hearty pita bread sandwich featuring spicy yakiniku seasoned
with gochujang, perfectly paired with mayonnaise.
*About the “My Idea Dish Contest”
This annual contest features recipes created by dormitory managers and matrons
from Dormy nationwide.
Last year's theme was “Something Sandwiched Between Bread,
” gathering diverse “sandwich” ideas from across Japan.

Tomato Pasta and Garlic Bread
Served at Dormy nationwide for dinner on Thursday, September 11th
Another creative dish from our menu.
This menu, devised by Dormy Kami-Shakujii's Dormitory manager Ms.Origuchi,
features a refreshing tomato spaghetti made with summer vegetables,
served with garlic toast rich in garlicky flavor.
Enjoy this perfectly paired combination!

Beef Steak (Tenderized)
Served at Dormy nationwide for dinner on Thursday, September 25
Kyoritsu Maintenance Co., Ltd., which operates Dormy,
celebrates its 46th anniversary on September 27.
To commemorate this milestone,
we have prepared our annual special menu item: Beef Steak (Tenderized).
This dish is served with our heartfelt gratitude to all our patrons.
We will continue to prepare meals with sincerity.

Ohagi
Served for dinner on Friday, September 26th at Dormy nationwide
This month, we're serving ohagi—
a traditional autumn treat eaten during the autumn equinox—
as dessert with dinner.
The name comes from the “hagi flower” that blooms in autumn.
Please enjoy this heartwarming sweet while savoring the changing seasons.
