One of the charms of Dormy, Student’s dormitory is its meals.

At Dormy, we prepare each dish with care, made from scratch to delight our residents.

Guided by our motto of “enjoyable and delicious,” we incorporate seasonal ingredients, 

offering breakfast and dinner that never grow tiresome.

In our series “Dormy Cafeteria,” 

we introduce the monthly featured dishes and recommended menus actually served at Dormy.

July marks the height of summer.

Dormy prepares special menus mindful of seasonal events and nutritional balance.

The lineup is packed with dishes designed to savor the season.

 

 

 

Tanabata Jelly

 

 

Available at Dormy, student’s dormitories nationwide

 (excluding some locations) for dinner on Monday, July 7th.

A two-toned jelly featuring star-shaped nata de coco, 

inspired by the romantic tale of Orihime and Hikoboshi.

This refreshing-looking summer dessert is perfect for Tanabata.

 

 

 

Pork Tamago Sandwich (Creative Dish)

 

 

Served at dinner on Wednesday, July 9th at Dormy, 

student’s dormitories nationwide.

An Okinawan “Pork Tamago Onigiri” reimagined as a sandwich!

This new menu item features the perfect balance of 

Spam's savory saltiness and egg's gentle sweetness.

This dish was born from an idea by the dorm mother at Dormy Musashinitta.

*About the “Idea Dish Contest”

This annual contest features recipes created by dormitory managers 

and matrons from Dormys nationwide. Last year's theme was 

“We Sandwiched This Between Bread,” 

gathering diverse “sandwich ideas” from across Japan.
